Philippine Horticultural Society “Horticulture 2007″

The Philippine Horticultural Society staged its garden show entitled “Horticulture 2007″ on February 2 to February 12, 2007 at the Manila Seedling Bank Foundation in EDSA corner Quezon Avenue. The show’s theme was “Asian Gardens” and the exhibitors showcased various gardens from Asian countries.

The inaugural opening ceremonies were held on February 2, 2007 at 2pm, with Mr. Bienvenido R. Tantoco Jr. and Mr. Romeo V. Jacinto as guests of honor.

The show also coincided with the 30th Year Anniversary of the Manila Seedling Bank Foundation.

The winner of the Best Plant in Show was Agave geminiflora, grown by Mac Pagsolingan. His plant also won the Amanda Gayle Yao Perpetual Cup for Best Succulent.
