Pinoy Horticulture is a blog of activities of horticulture societies and plant enthusiasts in the Philippines.

The Philippines has several active horticulture societies that hold regular plant shows throughout the year. These include the Philippine Orchid Society, Philippine Horticultural Society, Cactus and Succulent Society of the Philippines, Philippine Bonsai Society, and Los Baños Orchid Society, to mention a few. Through this blog, I plan to document these shows’ events and winners.

I have so far covered the following events:

1. 2006 Mid-Year Show of the Philippine Orchid Society held on September 1 to 11, 2006

2. Garden & Pet Show of the Cactus and Succulent Society of the Philippines held on November 10 to 20, 2006

3. “Horticulture 2007” of the Philippine Horticultural Society held on February 2 to 12, 2007

4. 2006 Annual Show of the Philippine Orchid Society held on March 1 to 12, 2007

5. 2007 Annual Show of the Los Baños Orchid Society held on April 12 to 22, 2007

6. 2007 Mid-Year Show of the Philippine Orchid Society held on August 30 to September 10, 2007

7. 4th Open Exhibition and Competition of the Philippine Bonsai Society, Inc. held on October 12 to 21, 2007

8. 2007 Mid-Year Show of the Los Baños Orchid Society held on October 5 to 14, 2007

9. “Horticulture 2008″ of the Philippine Horticultural Society held on January 26 to February 4, 2008.

10. 2008 Annual Show of the Philippine Orchid Society held on February 28 to March 10, 2008.

11. 2008 Annual Show of the Los Baños Orchid Society held on April 25 to May 4, 2008.

    i could buy ferns and fern allies
    esp. Psilotum..
